Perry and Jenny Neal (also known as 'Two Left Feet Dance') have
been dancing together since they first met in a dance class in 1994.
As competitors on the United Country Western Dance Council's national
circuit, Perry and Jenny regularly teach and perform throughout the
eastern U.S. Over a four-year period they amassed ten Grand Championships
and, in 2000, were ranked fifth in the world in their division. In
addition to country and western and swing dancing, Perry and Jenny have
begun adding ballroom to their repertoire. One of their goals is to create
a bridge between the ballroom and country communities and foster an atmosphere
of dance fraternity.
In addition to dancing, Perry and Jenny have begun giving back to the sport
which has given them so much pleasure over the years. In 2005 they were
asked to serve as the National Teacher's Association's (NTA) State Directors
for the State of Virginia. You can learn more about the NTA here.
Whether working with ProAm students, competitive couples, or beginning
social dancers, Perry and Jenny believe that dancing should be enjoyable
and fun. This theme carries through to their choice of name for their
business, "Two Left Feet Dance". Whether you're competing for a world
championship or you're attending your first group class, Perry and Jenny's
philosophy says it all. "Two Left Feet on the floor is better than one
butt left in a chair."
